TYPES OF MEWP

There are two types of mobile elevating work platforms.

or articulated boom. This can be operated universally in relation to the chassis.

This can be lorry, van or trailer mounted.

Scissor Machine

This is mounted on a self propelled chassis and usually has a vertical movement of the platform
This type of platform also has an horizontally extended deck.
Scissor mechanism activated by hydraulic rams provide the vertical movement.
